A rear end view of Kuwait Air Force Boeing C-17 Globemaster 3 KAF 343 as it heads to the stand at Manchester.
Due to space being at a premium – not helped by the fact that 5 stored TUI Boeing B737MAX 8s are parked up on a taxiway - this spent the night in the engine test bay before continuing on his way to the USA the next day.

What a magnificent beast we see here my friend. I presume you planned for seeing this, at it would be a rare sight here in my own Manchester airport. I thought that there were far less such planes coming in nowadays but you prove me wrong. Only five B737Max 8s -that's about a third of Tui's entire fleet of these - maybe some were hidden :) Well done. ~ Herb

Many thanks for the comments Herb. The arrival of this had been on the grapevine for at least a couple of days beforehand.
TUI currently have 6 B737 MAX 8s; 5 are parked here at Manchester - on the taxiway up near the Airport Hotel and in a very difficult spot for photos - and the 6th is at Tenerife.

Great selection. It must be good to be around when something out of the ordinary passes through like this. We regularly see the USAF C17s at Mildenhall but I have never seen any other nationalities here.
