Sunshine and steam
Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway.
During the 3 day August Bank Holiday event, the sun managed to come out on just the Sunday (most of the time!). The weather on Saturday and Monday was somewhat inclement, to say the least...
Here we see 2-8-2 'River Mite' arriving at Dalegarth from Ravenglass, whilst diesel 'Lady Wakefield' awaits departure back down to the coast.
