Every week there is a new challenge. Results are welcome on sunday. Interesting enough the area that is least familiar is als the area that brings the biggest challenge.....

Creativity

The sunday challenge = make a photograph that portrays CREATIVITY. There, easy innit? ------------------------ I was working on this image of a weir, changing it into a couple of giant mice drinking from the river, when suddenly a cat came walking on thin ice.... ------------------------ explored, thank you all

Pick your own challenge

The sunday challenge = Well what the hell do we do this week? This is getting increasingly harder to pick the challenges. Lets pick your favourite challenge and re-visit! For the new folk there is a list here of everything we have done, pick any one of them and have a go. So beware, next week may be that dreaded ICM or selective colour or maybe even HDR.. those are the challenges that got the most complaints, whining, urking! ---------------------------------------------- With so many challenges behind us I made a mix of a little icm, lowkey & painterly style Wish you all a splendid and creative new year! ---------------------------------------------- Thanks for the explore and your support

Strawberries at Christmas

The Sunday Challenge = Well it's almost a New Year, I would like to extend my very best for all of you over this next year, happiness and health to all! So in keeping with that, lets find something 'new' it can be a baby, a lens, a wife or hubby... anything new... Here's the catch (common you knew it wasn't going to be easy now did you): Make it into Art! --------------------------------------- Our wall is now decorated with this fine lady having strawberries. You see the lights of our christmas tree reflecting, the both together turned into a true piece of art. Happy New Year to all of you, all the best for the next year! --------------------------------------- Explored, thank you all, great support!

I was drivin' home for Christmas

The Sunday Challenge = How about we do some Christmas stuff, not necessarily your tree... but just what you want. Very open to anything really. You could challenge yourself building in a previous challenge, like low light, (for me dreaded) light bokeh, high-key, movement.... the list goes on and on! -------------------------------------- Last night I had a dream. I was driving home for Christmas . This is my attempt to visualize that dream. -------------------------------------- Explored again, thank you all, a very merry Christmas and happy holidays!

Anything Christmas

The Sunday Challenge = How about we do some Christmas stuff, not necessarily your tree... but just what you want. Very open to anything really. --------------------------------------------------------------- Why not a Christmas Balloon? I combined three images. The meadow is taken from a balloonride I really made a few years ago. Big fun, as you go by the wind, in just one direction. The moment you're airborne vertigo disappears.... --------------------------------------------------------------- I had severe connection problems, so I couldn't react to you. Explored, thanks

Abstract WALL ART

The sunday challenge = a piece of art from your house, only catch is it must be ON a wall! Other then that no restrictions this week! Have fun! ------------------------------------------------------------ I like the tiny cube design of this bidirectional wall-light; the cube is white, but when the light is on it turns to dark and shadows play on the wall. With changing daylight the three white sides of the cube play with light and shadow. To me it's modern design-art. ------------------------------------------------------------ Explored, thanks for all your support

What is BROKEN can be fixed

The Sunday Challenge = Let's go with one that is very, very low on the URK scale this week. BROKEN: Anything that is broken (yes that's right ... anything!). This should prove to be URKLESS. :) Have fun ... Chris ---------------------------------- At the light festival Glow, organised at the city of Eindhoven, these giant dandelions were emitting light. Many plastic bottles are cut to pieces and put together around a light source. A bunch of them are gathered in a park, very convincing. ---------------------------------- Explored, already (?)

They are already in the house

The sunday challenge = Seeing recognizable objects in otherwise random or unrelated objects or patterns is called PAREIDOLIA. Nearly everyone occasionally sees animal or human shapes in clouds, faces on the moon, that type of thing. It doesn't have to be a face and no restrictions this week, just don't create an image take an actual photograph of the item. -------------------------------------------------------------- Made a lot of new USB-friends this week, now they keep staring at me, together with my smiley outlet...... it's getting paradizzling.... -------------------------------------------------------------- Explored, thanks for all your reactions and comments

Texture

The sunday challenge = this week we go with texture, find something natural.. full of texture, you can post process or even put a light texture over top. The subject has to have texture ------------------------------------------------- The tragic events of this week inspired me to this sad image: the world is on fire and we are looking at it. No more and no less............ You're looking at a rusty old door, but I have put it upside down, to accentuate the flames..... Meanwhile I keep on having this sad feeling :-( -------------------------------------------------- Explored, thank you
