The Hechtsee in the Brandenberg Alps, north of Kufstein (Tyrol, Austria) and west of Kiefersfelden (Bavaria, Germany). In the lake there are indeed pike, but also pike-perch, carp, tench, trout and char. In the background the Kaisergebirge (western view). ~~~~~ Der Hechtsee in den Brandenberger Alpen , nördlich von Kufstein (Tirol, Österreich) und westlich von Kiefersfelden (Bayern, Deutschland). Im See gibt es tatsächlich Hechte, aber auch Zander, Karpfen, Schleie, Forellen und Saiblinge. Im Hintergrund das Kaisergebirge (Westansicht).

Winter has returned to Tyrol (Austria) once again. There was so much fresh snow that the fences are hardly visible and you can no longer hike without snowshoes. ~~~~~ Der Winter ist noch mal nach Tirol (Osterreich) zurückgekehrt. Es gab so viel Neuschnee, dass die Zäune kaum noch zu sehen sind, und man ohne Schneeschuhe nicht mehr wandern kann.
