One from the archives! We had hitch-hiked (those were the days!) along the Rhine valley from Mainz and had been just dropped off by the Rodenkirchen Bridge. This shot was taken from under that bridge looking north to the Südbrücke railway bridge and Cologne Cathedral in the distance.

Thanks Christa. We have taken vacations in Germany many times but in August were there for a wedding in Schwäbisch Hall and made a detour to visit Esslingen where I worked for a while in the 70s - the first time in 50 years!
