Here's another shot of some folders from a recent group I was lucky enough to acquire. In addition to some scarce linens, there were quite a few earlier folders which verge on downright rare - a word I hesitate to abuse any further because of its widespread overuse on eBay.

Anything tied to one particular industry holds particular interest, and this lot included a few devoted to the auto industries of the 20's as well as some featuring mining. One such folder can be seen, albeit obscured, middle left.

The lot also included many nice California folders, including several from the Tournament of the Roses festivities, of which a 1929 example can be seen bottom center. The illustration on some of these amazing souvenirs looks as if Louis Rhead could have drawn them!

In addition, there were some historically fascinating pieces like the middle two which feature scenes of San Fransisco after the earthquake and fire, and then during its rebuilding!

Needless to say, I just eat this stuff up, and I look forward to sharing some if it.
