No doubt there then! I really feel for the city planners as they obviously wish to avoid the mistakes of the past e.g Plymouth city centre and Coventry spring to mind where they lost the plot in the 1950/60's. However, they also clearly need to keep pace with contemporary views and so will always end up disappointing some of us. It is certainly a talking point but I doubt if it will be missed when its time is up. If you want to see some whacky designs, go to Dubai where nobody has ever heard of planning regulations nor public consultation!
