A "sign of the times" which is becoming more common during the present circumstances. I'm not sure how effective these masks are outdoors....my friend who is a fully-qualified SRN tells me that they are only designed to protect patients from medical staff in a "hospital environment". The surgical gloves that this family are wearing are a good idea though, especially for people who live in shared accommodation such as flats / apartments where many residents are touching "communal" door-handles etc. Thoughts, anyone? British coins photographed with my recently acquired 60mm macro lens......at it's closest focus the 5p coin fills the frame (and slightly overflows it). This is an old lens (first released in the 1980s I believe) which I bought "pre-owned" but it is also an excellent general-purpose and / or portrait lens for Nikon APS-C cameras where it has the equivalent field-of-view of a 90mm lens on a full-frame camera. This stile was in the middle of an otherwise empty field near Reedley, North-West England. The track through the field is a "Public Right Of Way" (according to the map on my GPS) but it doesn't seem to be serving any purpose here. An old photograph from 2003.....these men were attempting to remove a concrete block as part of the "modernisation" of a local school's sports-fields.
