If I Had a Hammer

If I had a hammer,
I'd hammer in the morning,
I'd hammer in the evening,
All over this land,
I'd hammer out danger,
I'd hammer out a warning,
I'd hammer out love between,
My brothers and my sisters,
All over this land.

Perhaps it is because it is nearing Halloween . . . .
I have been seeing some rather fascinating apparitions on my nature walks lately. Take this stone entity, for instance.

Perhaps it is because it is near Halloween . . . .
I have been seeing some rather fascinating apparitions on my nature walks lately. Take this stone entity, for instance. We had a long philosophical conversation about the nation's economy and politics. I found his rationale rock solid.

Livin' in the 60s

Last weekend I went back in time 50 years for a few hours, joining a multi-generational gathering at the Sound Summit concert held at the Mountain Theater on top Mt. Tamalpais. Members of the Grateful Dead and friends performed, a show reminiscent of the heady days of the Summer of Love. It seemed appropriate that I record the event with a 1960s vintage film camera. Well, I am back from my trip and once again in the present.
