Palm House

Palm House
The Palm House is a large greenhouse in the Kew Royal Botanic Gardens in London that specializes in growing tropical and subtropical plants. It was completed in 1848. Many of its plants are endangered or extinct in the wild.

This photo was taken by a Kowa Super 66 medium format film camera with a KOWA 1:3.5/55 lens and Zenza Bronica 67mm SY44•2C(Y1) filter using Adox CHS 100 ART film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Photo taken with a film that is "extinct" (discontinued) with only a few known surviving rolls stored in wildly dispersed freezers around the world . . . the photographer is fast-becoming fossilized, as well . . .
