Citadel

Citadel
An ancient fortress dominates the heights, it’s battlements now broken and in ruins.

This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and Super-Multi-Coated Takumar/6X7 1:4.5/75 lens with a HOYA HMC 82mm O[G]) filter using Adox CHS 100 II film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Okay, I will admit that this is not an ancient citadel . . .
It is the eroded remains of an ancient lake and floodplain formed perhaps 50 - 70 million years ago.
Then again, it just might be an ancient citadel . . .
