Dangerous Site

Dangerous Site
An anomaly or is the site hacked?

Yes, I've had that today - from N0rt0n - but I don't have that running on my laptop ... my AVG hasn't whinged. All I did was retry the link in another browser window - it was fine !

Comment peut on savoir s'il y a un problème?

I scanned the links to the security report & Ipernity using something other than Norton.

Also: there was something similar, with a virus download in the link to MacAfee, just recently.

I would not open a link like that, in any case, as AVG reports in a different way.

I had no problems or alerts visiting Ipernity on my Mac.
The "Dangerous Site" reports are from a Windows user. Should he (or Thérèse) be concerned about visiting Ipernity?

It may not mean anything at all! I have received the same warning several times about sites which were absolutely secure. The problems lies in the certificate that the site must have and which expires at a certain moment. So if the web master has not renewed this certificated the site is classified as insecure. You can inform the staff here about it. Another possibility is that the anti-virus has committed a mistake. They do quite often and Norton has not a good reputation.
