New/Old

Opened this year after over 20 years of planning, study and construction, the new eastern span of the Bay Bridge replaces the old bridge in the background. The new span is designed to survive a "credible" seismic event which will surely occur in the future.

This photo was taken by a Kiev 88C medium format film camera and ARSAT B 2.8/80mm lens using Kodak T-MAX 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
