BEST VIEWED LARGE - My poor baby has been having a bad time...first Daddy bought a new cat litter which coloured her usually pristine white fur a reddish pink and which she tried to wash off for hours...and now we have a furry houseguest she has not yet assured herself she has adequately let know who is boss of this house. This pic of her eye was taken while she was staring hard at him as a warning not to take another step. Must admit I was quick incase I got in the line of the claws I was sure would be out any moment. Managed to capture the lens reflected in her wild eyed look though.

Found this little friend building its home across my front doorway. Was not easy to photogragh as there were high winds blowing making focusing on the web waving in the breeze difficult, and I also had to stand on a stepladder to get high enough...but was worth it. Neighbours thought I was a little weird though.

To be alone is not such a scary place to be but rather it can be peaceful and rejuvenating. This is a place I love for that feeling, though even more remote and isolated is my perfection.
