Die schon weggerosteten Schiffswände sind spektakulär.

Your main image is very well composed and the wreck looks splendid against the sky. I love the rust and the graffiti too and it's good to have some people in the shot for scale.

The PiPs are just wonderful..........with the first one adding more context and the others showing us beautifully sharp and detailed images of the damage and decay to the hull, inside and out.

Impressive photos. The idea of painting obsolete ships does not seem strange, to some extent graffiti hides the first impression of uselessness.

I've never seen graffiti on a shipwreck before.

Las fotos muy buenas como de costumbre. Estupendas vistas generales y detalles concretos. Cuando veo pecios pienso. Es complejo retirar una chatarra así, por aspectos técnicos, costes, legalidades..., pero que las autoridades nos estén concienciando reiteradamente sobre ecología y que no arrojemos a ríos o mar ni un tapón de botella y nos den tan malos ejemplos, como dejar este barco encallado en un arenal durante 43 años, y permanecerá un siglo, eso es irracional. Ese pecio si se quiere se puede retirar de ahí. Es cuestión de establecer responsabilidades y pagar a quien corresponda. Está prohibido abandonar un coche, hay que llevarlo al desguace, reciclarlo, darlo de baja y si hay gastos, pagarlos personalmente o el seguro. Pues esto igual.

Das ist doch mal ein herrliches Fotomotiv, Jaap. Leider wusste ich nicht, dass es dort liegt. War vor etwa 15 Jahren in der Nähe. Könnte auch ein Piratenschiff irgendwo in der Karibik sein.

Je n'aime pas ces épaves rouillées qui font la joie des taggeurs et des photographes ... mais qui polluent les endroits où elles sont abandonnées ... ce qui coûte moins cher aux armateurs que de les démonter !
