Fringed Grass-of-Parnassus

Fringed Grass-of-Parnassus
This is just a quick grab, as the image I had edited and planned to upload, just would not upload. I'm now waiting for the other two of my "daily three" to finish uploading. I tried posting using both Google Chrome, which I use most of the time as my browser, and Internet Explorer, which I used for so many years, but it usually ends up freezing my computer, so I don't use it much at all. No idea why this uploading problem has been going on for maybe a week, but it's wasting hours and hours of my time! Sigh - no, the other two images failed to upload!!! Driving me nuts!

A friend and I saw these Fringed Grass-of-Parnassus flowers when we were walking along the Bow Glacier Trail on 10 August 2013. This trail runs along one side of magnificent Bow Lake, Highway 93, Icefields Parkway in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta. I rarely get to see these wildflowers, so I was happy to see a whole display of them that day. Not the greatest capture, but I wanted to add it to my Bow Lakes & Bow Glacier Trail album.
