White Pigeon

After spending a few most enjoyable few hours at the Saskatoon Farm yesterday, with my youngest daughter and two members of the photography group that she leads, I had intended going food shopping, as I still hadn't been since getting back from my four-day road trip to SE Alberta. However, I couldn't change lanes in time and ended going left instead of right. Decided to keep driving, but still within city limits, and came across this beautiful white Pigeon perched on a high wire. Not sure, but maybe it is a domesticated bird. Fully zoomed and cropped = grainy image, lol. Also was lucky enough to drive up alongside a beautiful female Ruffed Grouse (red form) standing near the edge of a gravel road. I did eventually get as far as Safeway, and it feels so good to have food in the house again, ha!
