Fireweed / Epilobium angustifolium

I always love a backlit photo of Fireweed, giving a nice black background to show off the gorgeous colour of the petals. Photographed this in West Bragg Creek on August 12th. This native plant grows in open forests, riverbanks and areas subjected to forest fires.
