Hidden amongst the branches
Just an old photo that I had put in a folder to maybe upload to Flickr. I haven't been getting time to go through old files to find something that is NOT blue, white and brown and this is all I could find quickly last night. This photo of a little Northern Hawk Owlet, on Grand Valley Road, was taken on 31 May 2012. Not good light, but I managed to rescue the shot sufficiently, I think.
I have to leave the house just after 5:30 this morning, for the annual Horseshoe Canyon/Drumheller Christmas Bird Count. It's a long drive east of Calgary (I'm not driving), across the Prairies, to the Badlands (land of the dinosaurs), so it's going to be a very long day. See you later ......
