I need colour
I've no idea what kind of Poppy this seedhead belongs to. These heads were much taller than all the surrounding "regular" ones and were a very pretty purple, with a ring of "knobs" around the base of the seedhead. Hadn't seen this kind before. Taken on August 27th in Jim Coutts' amazing homestead Poppy garden, just north east of Nanton, south of Calgary.
