Mold on a red pepper : )

Ha, ha, I discovered this delightful find hidden right at the back of my fridge when I cleaned it out this week!!! With all my botanizing outings all spring, summer and fall, I get into the very bad (and expensive!) habit of buying food and then either not having time to do anything with it, or else I'm just too exhausted and painful to stand and "cook", especially after the full-day outings. Consequently, by the time October/November arrive, I have no choice but to clean out my fridge. This red bell pepper was in a plastic bag and was covered in white, with these small, black growths all over it, presumably mold of some kind. Quite spectacular, really, especially when see in macro size, as in my image. Does anyone know exactly what it is?
