A very distant, heavily-cropped image, but this little owl deserves to be seen. These rare to uncommon, very tiny, fierce birds of prey have been giving so much pleasure to many people recently. Everyone is hoping that they will nest in the park. I dream of getting a photo of three or four baby owls in a row on a photogenic branch with bright blue sky behind them - yeah, righ, LOL! Remember, an adult is the size of a popcan, hardly bigger than a sparrow!
