I have been so lucky the last couple of visits to the Calgary Zoo, as I seem to have had a lot of the animals and birds turn and look at me, which can really help when trying to get a photo. A few moments after I snapped this shot, I walked round a corner and just missed getting a shot of a Magpie perched on the back of a young Mountain Sheep. I'd never seen that before. Would have made a cool shot : ). Of course, it's always more amazing when we see these animals wild in the mountains.
