Bemerkenswerte Bauten...

This must be a remarkable place to visit. I'll add it to my bucket list. I haven't yet made it that far south (although it's not really in the south) in Italy, my southernmost place was Ancona.

Ancone is more or less in the middle, as it is Umbria

you should visit Umbria, less "fancy" than Toscana, but more authentic!

I like authentic. And I didn't visit Toscana because it's more fancy, although I did enjoy my stay there there a lot. The reason was that my ex-husband had relatives near Firenze, so we were invited :-)
