The United Nations General Assembly has designated November 25 as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women .
The premise of the day is to raise awareness of the fact that women around the world are subject to rape, domestic violence and other forms of violence; furthermore, one of the aims of the day is to highlight that the scale and true nature of the issue is often hidden.

Excellent, I think that when the violence against women will end at the same time all kind of violence will end, cause when men will respect women that means that men have learned to respect all kind of differences (races, ages, cultures,religions,sex etc etc....).

cette grande sensibilisation , cette cause je la connais bien, J'ai travaillé dans un foyer de femmes battues, et je souhaite de tout mon coeur qu'elles se manifestent de plus en plus, car chaque jours dans le monde des femmes meurent, à cause de cette violence, sans compter,
