Thanks so very much, Wendi. And, cheers for faving my photo. The building is part of Stowe School. I was told recently that I shouldn't be photographing the school but clearly I haven't take any notice of this rule :-)

why not? in cause you are 'creeping' on the girls or something? I really don't get it Roger. And this happens to be a picture of the grounds, the trees and that fence... the damn building just got in the way!

There are girls here but there are also boys and the chances are that if I wanted to take a photo a boy would, for sure, walk into the frame and obscure the view at the very instant I pressed the shutter :-)) It is a lot easier to take candid shots in Oxford where there are hundreds of peeps taking photos all the time :-) There are parts of the grounds that are private and signs to tell you not to trespass! But, you can see the school from different parts of the grounds so I think if they don't want the school photographed they should put up a very tall brick wall all the way around the school :-))

yea that's the spirit! Roger. A tall fence would work! that's the way I figure things in my head too!
After all this is the school my kid is going to go to when she moves over there so you need to 'show it to her'. ʇHפᴉɹ¿?
