Fall Photography Show
This set will include fall colors images, but will also include pictures that I have taken while out on rounds for lovely "fall" images, but which may not have those festive colors. I'll eventually put them in a better set. For now, all of my fall pictures will go here! I hope you like them! :)

Steve and I drove around one day taking pictures of fall images. This corn field was next to a harvest festival and had many beautiful corn stalks to photograph!
This set includes 10 images! I hope you enjoy them! :) Thanks for your comments and favorites, you guys are all the very best! :D

These are such bizarre looking plants! We have lots of them in our meadow, and every one has an interesting shape! They can grow as high at 6-7 feet tall!!!

Cloudy Skies and Firey Landscape

I purposely pushed the colors of the landscape to see what they would look like and the result is surreal!

BOKEH!!! My Canon SX30 IS would never produce an image like this one...the softness of the background, yet recognizable and pleasing, and the foreground is crisp and clear with super light. Gotta love a good camera!!!!

Clouds and Sun Flare

Look at that lens flare!! Look at the clouds! Holy cow! This is a single-exposure HDR image possible because this camera can save images in RAW format! YAY!!!

One of the things I love about good DSLRs is the bokeh you can get out of them. This is a good example of what you can do with a nice camera! :D

Just a quick note of amazed thanks...this image has gotten 35 "Magic Lamp" awards from the 1001 Nights award group...I don't remember when I've gotten that many awards for one of my pictures before. I'm totally blown away and extremely pleased that people like this image so much! THANKS EVERYONE!!!
Playtime with our Canon 5D!!!

I've finally decided that it's time to move up to a better camera. My Canon SX30 IS has served me very well. I've been able to push the limits with its 0" macro to 35x zoom capabilities and after 1,000's of pictures, I've gotten a LOT of experience and a fantastic education. However, over the past couple of months, the problems I can't get around have become more than I can stand. I want better quality images, I want better bokeh, and I want the ability to save my images in RAW for single capture HDRs. I am tired of all of the NOISE and chromatic aberations the SX30 is known for. I am sick of blown out colors and trouble in low light.
Say hello to the Canon 5D!! YAY!! I spent some time today wandering around our property, familiarizing myself with the capabilities of our fancy camera, and here are the 12 pictures I've processed from my adventure! I hope you like them! I'm very pleased, considering the fact that I'm only just starting to play with this powerhouse camera!
