Pine Needles Straddling a Branch

There's a log I love to check for mushrooms, and though I didn't find any, I stopped for a moment to just look around at the world. Peering up, I saw an interesting sight! Pine needles from a branch above had gotten stuck on the branch below and they looked like people straddling a log!

I was originally going to make this my Picture of the Day, but after processing the Oak leaves, I thought this image is just a bit too muted to take center stage. What do you think? I love the leading line and interesting position of the pine needles, but...the bright, cheery color of the Oak leaves steal the show in my opinion.
