224/365: "To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe." ~ Anatole France
2 more pictures in notes above! :)
The smoke from the wildfires in southern Oregon has reduced a great deal from the rain we've had, and this morning when I went out, I was captivated by the warm glowing light over our meadows. I love the way the sun makes ordinary grass look when you see it at just the right angle!
Anatole France (pronounced: [anatɔl fʁɑ̃s]; born François-Anatole Thibault, (16 April 1844 – 12 October 1924) was a French poet, journalist, and novelist. He was born in Paris, and died in Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire. He was a successful novelist, with several best-sellers. Ironic and skeptical, he was considered in his day the ideal French man of letters. He was a member of the Académie française, and won the Nobel Prize for Literature in recognition of his literary achievements. Wikipedia: Anatole France

The blackberries.. so many memoies of picking them and Mum making Blackberry and Apple jam and pies. And Blackberry Vinegar makes THE most wonderful dressing.
Sadly.. not any to be found here in Cowboyland.
