Frothy Bubbles From Rainwater Runoff
[best appreciated at full size against black]
We are extremely fortunate to live on 26 acres, which include forests, meadows, hills, valleys and a ridgeline. One very special area a valley below our house with huge rocky outcroppings. When it rains, the water runs down the rocks and forms little streams. While investigating the area for mushrooms and droplets, I saw a place where the water was dripping down into a little pool and forming frothy bubbles!
