AZ - Iron King Trail

A hiking/biking/horse trail along the old route of the Santa Fe, Prescott, and Phoenix Railway, originally built in the 1890s. This part is on the east side of Prescott and is part of a city park and wildlife area. Rail service to Prescott along this route was finally discontinued in 1984. The route passes thru the Granite Dells, a picturesque set of rounded granite outcrops, and along the east side of Watson Lake, a reservoir on Granite Creek.
