A hidden slot canyon in the southern Nevada desert makes an unexpected oasis and scenic hike.

Arrow Canyon, southern Nevada, USA. A spectacular desert slot canyon some 50 miles NNE of Las Vegas. It's now (and belatedly) a protected area. 4wd traffic used to be allowed thru this canyon--must've been interesting when two parties met in the middle!
