Lake Shasta, California, USA

Large reservoir formed by Shasta Dam on the Sacramento River, at the north end of California's Central Valley. We're looking east up the Pit River arm here. The snowcapped peak barely visible on the skyline just to the right of center is Lassen Peak (highlighted). The structure out in the water appears to be a floating outhouse(!)--I would guess in response to environmental regs about disposal of waste into the lake.
