Bull Run Reservoir

Bull Run Reservoir
On Bull Run Creek, which drains into the South Fork of the Owyhee. (Yes, I know "Bull Run Creek" is redundant. Probably the folks who named it didn't know that "run" means creek!) The Owyhee drains northward into the Snake, so this little sliver of northern Nevada is actually in the Columbia River drainage, not the Great Basin.

Thanks! It has some political significance: because a tiny sliver of Nevada is in the Columbia drainage, Nevada actually gets some hydropower from that grid. Seems a bit artificial, but there it is.
