Monroe Street Bridge

Spokane River in Spokane, Washington, USA. The cable to right of center is for a gondala ride you can take under the bridge for a view of the river and lower falls. Some of the gondolas on the return cable are visible to the right. Evidently the bridge isn't important enough to have a Wikipedia page! ;)

Thanks! It was really hot that day (ca. 100 F) and those little gondolas got very uncomfortable indeed!

Thanks! Yeah, we're riding down on the cable to the left. The heat wouldn't have been so bad, even with the tiny open windows, if the gondolas didn't stop for several minutes at a time!
