Soybeans!

Soybeans!
On our farm outside Smith Center, Kansas, USA. The guy that farms it for us alternates soybeans with milo maize (which is _not_ the same as "maize," i.e., corn) and wheat. "Milo" is a feed crop for animals. My wife inherited 200 acres from her mom.

Interesting crop/ I don't know anything about it but didn't expect it to be a short height crop.

Yeah, it's like lots of other bush beans. Like any legume, it hosts nitrogen-fixing bacteria, so it replenishes soil nitrogen. That's why he alternates it with the grass crops.
