National Park, California, USA. Off Artist's Drive. One thing about cruising D.V. in July, the traffic is a lot less! ;) The temperature was something like 110 F--cool for the season!

Yes, sort of. This is a one-way side scenic route that loops up thru some of the colorful outcrops and then drops back down to the main highway. It doesn't cross the main crest of the range.
