Actually the site of a mill for gold ore, located here because land prices had been driven so high around Silver Peak itself. The ore was gold-bearing quartz veins in the Precambrian Wyman Formation, and was uneconomic by 1915, when Blair was abandoned. There's been new prospecting activity with the recent run-up in gold prices, but as yet no new mining. The currently active mining, a few miles south, is for lithium out of the basinal brines in Clayton Valley:
