Yellow Peony
Here’s one of the unusual and beautiful peonies grown in the lovely gardens of Hildene, the former summer home of Robert Todd Lincoln and his wife Mary Harlan Lincoln, located in Manchester Center, Vermont.
Robert was one of four - and the only surviving child of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln.
According to Wiki, "The garden is especially noted for its collection of over 1,000 herbaceous peonies.”
I took this on a visit to Hildene several years ago.
