The House Cat

I house-sat for a family for a few years in Chester, Vermont. The family had moved down to Boston and I think they took this cat with them soon after - because I have no memory of his name.
Weird.
I’ve always loved orange cats, too!
They left their dogs behind for me to take care of knowing how much the animals would miss the woods and fields.
I do remember the dogs names; Stephy and Athena.
