The Long and Winding Road
Re-posted for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD
Taken by my new boyfriend in 1978, my future husband to be, this was snapped by a rusty old Argus, my ancient but well loved camera, near Weathersfield, Vermont.
Guess the film didn't advance on this one.
This always reminded me of the song by Melanie (remember her?)
"Sometimes when I am feeling as big as the land
with the velvet hills in the small of my back
and my hands are playing in sand…
…there's a chance peace will come in your life
please buy one.."

Over the years I have gotten a few really excellent photos (like this one!) from purely accidental non-forwarding of film. It is something that isn't possible to recreate with digital - all double exposure are planned digitally.
Do you have a youtube link for Melanie? I don't know her work.
