Nana Amanda And Her First Grandchild

On August 19th we were getting ready to go on vacation, driving down to Lake Sunapee, New Hampshire, and then happily surrounded by family once we got there. The upshot being that I only took two photos that day.
So... here they are.
I originally chose the second one for the top photo - but ended up with the profile one instead.
Was that the better choice?
Happy belated World Photography Day, everyone!

I like the top one as first choice because it tells a story with the child really looking at their nana. But that's my preference for photos of people. The second one is really nice also, just more of a portrait type photo showing off that little one's wonderful face!
I think the gaze and the little ski slope nose profile tipped the scales in favor of the top one. : )
Thank you for organizing World Photography Day. What a lot of great photographs!
We are all pretty charmed with him. : )
