Congo. Church, New Haven Mills, Vt

This former Congregational (Congo) Church is about five miles from my house. It looks the same. (This RPPC was taken about 1910.) It's also called the Union Church - you can read about it here:

Over the years there has been a group of people who raise money to keep it in relatively good repair. Sometimes they have concerts in the building to raise funds. I've been to several evening concerts there - and because there's no electricity the concerts seem very magical, as they're lit by the original, giant, pull down-from-the-ceiling kerosene lamps.
