Where's that Damned Fox Gone?!

I know it's really a dog, but that's what I always think when I look at this glass plate negative. : )

Ha! Love that dog and can't help thinking how astonished that farmer would be to see modern mechanized hay gathering.

Ha ha, it does look as if the fox-like dog is hiding! And as Rick points out, this is a good reminder of how much labor was involved in farming (and it's still labor intensive even with mechanization!).

Thanks, Rick. I definitely prefer the old style haystacks to the white shrink wrapped ones of today.
