The burned remains of the Picacho Peak Trading Post sign and large fiberglass Indian who, for reasons unknown to me, was called Muffler Man.

My little mouse "Squeak" running around my bathroom. The only place I can let him run around and keep my 5 cats away.
I saved this little squirt from a glue trap at the plant where I work.

Big, Weird Dogs Around Here!

Elk crossing a street in Strawberry, Arizona.
There were six or seven of them, but this is the best shot I could get of them because they wouldn't hold still and quickly wandered out of view.

The dam was built to divert Fossil Creek down a flume to a power generating plant about four miles downstream.
The power plant and flume are gone now and flow is returned to the creek bed.

My latest adopted kitty Willy.
Chilly Willy is still very timid and this is the first time he came up on my lap.
I wanted to give a home to an older kitty who might have a harder time finding a home. He's about 15 1/2 years old.
I adopted him from The Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA.
The AAWL was founded by a group of concerned animal lovers led by Amanda Blake who played "Miss Kitty" on the TV western show "Gunsmoke" with James Arness.
