1971 Dodge Charger R… club has replied to Diane Putnam clubIt was a 293 foot high brick stack for the copper smelter built in 1924.
Unfortunately just last Saturday (November 10th, 2018) they blew out the base with explosives and dropped it to the ground because it was deteriorating and becoming unstable.
The smelter building is also gone.
It's a shame because it was a notable and historic landmark in Superior, AZ. : (
