Heinkel He 111
This was the last flying example of a Heinkel He 111 World War II German medium bomber.
It was owned and operated by the Arizona Wing of the Confederate Air Force (now called the Commemorative Air Force) in Mesa, Arizona.
Tragically on July 10th 2003 in Cheyenne, Wyoming it was destroyed in a crash in which the pilot and copilot lost their lives.
