Line 13 to Oostduin, photographed on the Laan van Meerdervoort. This type of bus was in service in several other (big) cities, such as Amsterdam, Utrecht and Rotterdam. The earlier versions had round head lamps. The original design dates from 1966. This picture was taken in somewhere between 1985–1988. Sometimes other chassis (other then DAF) were used.

I took the picture in 1980 (not exactly sure). The protesters were only against American missiles.

It used to be a real gate, giving access to the Buitenhof (Exterior Court), but in the 1930s the houses which stood on the right were torn down so that cars could move freely. Now cars are not welcome anymore, but the houses will not return. Taken with a Olympus Trip 35 and shot on Ilford film around 1981.
