Etoile du Nord

This is the Thalys train to Paris, passing through Leiden. Leiden is not big enough to make the Thalys stop. Etoile du Nord was the old name of the train service between Paris and Amsterdam.

An old Dutch electric train from 1924 passed Leiden today. The number is C9002, but it is named after Jaap Mol, a employee of the Dutch national railways.
Motorrijtuig means motorcar.
