Old Dutch city bus in the Hague (HTM 352)

Line 13 to Oostduin, photographed on the Laan van Meerdervoort. This type of bus was in service in several other (big) cities, such as Amsterdam, Utrecht and Rotterdam. The earlier versions had round head lamps. The original design dates from 1966. This picture was taken in somewhere between 1985–1988. Sometimes other chassis (other then DAF) were used.

The busses are all from 2005, the VDL Berkhof Ambassador 200 (5.9 litre, 6 cylinder diesel engine) except the one third from the left: that is a 2001 Mercedes-Benz O 550 Integro

Achnacarry is in Scotland. During WO II the Commando Basic Training Centre was located there, in Achnacarry Castle, to train special forces of the Allied Forces. The Dutch Special Forces were established there in 1942 and also trained there. Now they are based in Roosendaal.

The Bruck in Whitefish, Montana

This custom-made bus was in service from 1951 until 1972 between Whitefish and Kalispell. It is called "bruck" because it was a combination bus and truck.
220 HP engine, 10-speed transmission
